Open Estimator, enter the surface — walls, ceiling, or plain square metres — subtract doors and windows, choose the paint and the number of coats. The app shows the litres you need, how many tins that is, and the total price.
Yes. Enter the litres you actually have and the app tells you how much surface that covers at your chosen coverage and coat count.
The library ships with common starting points for emulsion, primer, masonry, wood and metal paints, plus surface types from smooth plaster to rough render. They are reference values, not instructions: always follow the coverage printed on the tin you are actually using, and adjust the preset if it differs.
Yes. Add a preset with your own coverage, tin size and price, and pin the ones you use most so they stay at the top. If you delete something by mistake, use Settings → Restore built-in presets.
Metric and imperial both work — square metres or square feet, litres or gallons. The built-in converter handles area, volume and coverage, and you can switch the default at any time in Settings.
They are a simple progress marker. Every job you finish moves the counter up, and the rank changes at fixed thresholds — Apprentice, Brush Hand, Decorator, Finisher, Foreman, Master Painter. Nothing is random, nothing can be bought, and they have no value outside the app.
No. Everything is calculated on the device. The app behaves exactly the same in Airplane Mode.
Only on your iPhone. Deleting the app removes all of it permanently.
